Enabling or disabling staff and/or client notifications per service

Staff and/or client notifications can be enabled and disabled individually for each of your appointments, classes, events, or Book-a-Spot assets in the advanced settings for the service.

NoteIf notifications sent to staff and/or clients aren’t received, you may want to review the settings for the associated service.

To enable or disable staff and/or client notifications per service:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
  3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
  4. On the Setup menu, click Services.
  5. On the Services menu, click Appointments, Classes, Events, or Book-a-Spot depending on the service you want to modify.
  6. Find the service that should have its notifications changed. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the service.
  7. Under Advanced Settings, scroll to the Notifications heading.
    • To enable client notifications, click Enable client notifications.
    • To disable client notifications, click Disable client notifications. If you choose this option, any related client notifications won’t be sent.
    • To enable staff notifications, click Enable staff notifications.
    • To disable staff notifications, click Disable staff notifications. If you choose this option, any related staff notifications won’t be sent.
  8. Click Save.
