This article describes all the Advanced settings available when you are creating or modifying an Event.

|Taxes||A setting that allows you to select whether taxes apply to this Event. If you have configured taxes, and taxes apply to this Event, select each tax type that applies.|
|In-person or Virtual Service||A setting that determines whether your clients will attend the Event in person at your studio, or remotely via a Zoom meeting or other non-integrated virtual service.|
For online Events using Zoom, the following settings will appear:
NoteIf you select This is an in-person service, you can enter a maximum of 8,192 characters in the DESCRIPTION field. If you select This is an integrated Zoom virtual service, you can enter a maximum of 2,000 characters in the DESCRIPTION field. The maximum character count for non-integrated virtual services will vary depending on the provider. For more information about the DESCRIPTION field see Event general information settings.
|Client Online Booking||A setting that specifies whether clients can book this event online. Select one of the following options:|
|Staff Booking||The client types for which staff members can this Event. Select one of the following options:|
|Prerequisites||A setting that determines whether clients must attend certain classes or events before booking this event. For more information, see Adding prerequisites to a class or event.|
|Age Restriction||A setting that determines whether the Event are restricted to clients in a certain age range. Select one of the following options:|
Clients can’t book a service with an age restriction if they haven’t entered their date of birth on their client profile.
NoteWhen Events are age restricted, clients must be the correct age at the time of booking to successfully book the Event. For example, if an Event is restricted to clients who are age 18 and above and a client is going to turn 18 in two days, the client cannot book an Event that takes place in three days, even though they will be the correct age when the Event takes place.
NoteThe Display age restriction to clients setting only affects clients who are logged in to their accounts. Clients who are not logged in will be able to view all services and will not see any indication that age restrictions exist even if this option is set to ON.
NoteA confirmation popup will appear when you book a client into an Event if their age is outside of the permitted age range. Bookings for a client whose age is outside of the specified age range can only be made from the schedule.
|Assets||A setting that determines whether or not assets are required for Classes of this type.|
If assets are required, you must select the required assets from the list. If multiple assets are required, click the Add button next to the list to add more assets.

|Make-Up Sessions||A setting that determines whether other specific Events or Classes can act as make-up sessions for any missed sessions of this Event. If you choose to allow make-up sessions, select the Events or Classes that can be used as make-up sessions from the list. You can set a limit on the amount of make-up sessions that clients can attend. For more information, see Event make-up sessions.|
|Custom Business Policies||A setting that allows you to apply custom business policies, such as booking policies or automatic attendance tracking, to this Event.|
To apply custom business policies, set this option to ON, which exposes the Event-specific business policy settings. The values of the Event-specific business policy settings are automatically pulled from the Business Policies page. Therefore, you only need to change the specific values that you want to customize. |QUICK Buy Settings||A setting that allows you to select whether QUICK Buy products are available for this Event. If you select QUICK buy products are available for this service, you can select which QUICK Buy products are available. For more information, see Quick Buy.|
|Payment Plans||Choose the payment plans, if any, that can be used to pay for this Event. For more details, see Payment Plans.|
|Contract||A setting that specifies whether or not clients must agree to a contract before purchasing the Event. Select one of the following options:|
|Client Type||The type of client the Event attendee becomes after booking a spot in this Event. Make a selection from the list. After the client???s last event session, they will become an Inactive Pass Holder.|
NoteThis setting is only available if the purchase rule All sessions are booked automatically when purchased is ON.
|Take Notes||A setting that allows you to enable note taking for this Event. Your choices are:|
|Visit Session Value||The session value of a single Event instance (or visit). A single instance can be equal to one session or a custom session value of your choice.|
|Notifications||An option that allows you to select whether clients and staff members are notified of changes to scheduled Events.|
|Quick Search Tags||The QUICK Search Tags that apply to this Event. In the list, select all the QUICK Search Tags that apply.|
QUICK Search Tags help categorize your Event for clients who are searching for new services on WellnessLiving.com. For example:
QUICK Search Tags are not customizable.
|Revenue Category||The revenue categories to which the Event is assigned. Click a revenue category to select or deselect it. You can select as many revenue categories as needed. The Event will be assigned to the selected revenue categories.|
