The booking times for an appointment or Book-a-Spot asset are based on their booking intervals and the availability of your staff members and assets. To prevent empty blocks of time on your schedule, booking times begin as soon as the available time for an appointment or asset begins. For example, if a staff member begins their shift at 8:10 a.m. and the booking interval for an appointment is set to 15 minutes, available booking times for the appointment will be at 8:10 a.m., 8:25 a.m., 8:40 a.m., and so on.
If you want to change the available booking times for your appointments and assets, complete the following steps:
- Review the duration, padding time, and booking intervals for your appointments or assets. If necessary, adjust these settings to resolve the issue. For more information, see Creating or modifying an appointment type or Creating or modifying a Book-a-Spot asset.
- Review the working hours for your staff members or assets. If necessary, adjust the available or unavailable times to resolve the issue. For more information, see Managing a staff member’s working hours or Setting an asset’s working hours.
