FAQ: Why does a client’s session pass have a negative number of remaining visits?

When viewing a session pass on a client’s Passes & Membership’s page, you may notice it has a negative number of remaining visits. This happens when a client’s session pass is applied to more visits than are currently available on the pass.

Consider the following scenario:

  • A client is booked into a recurring service with eight sessions over two months
  • The session pass is scheduled to auto-renew at the beginning of every month

When the service is booked, eight visits will be deducted from the four-visit pass, leaving the pass with negative four remaining visits. When the session pass auto-renews at the beginning of next month, the four new visits on the pass will be applied to the recurring service, and the session pass will have zero remaining visits.
