This article describes all the General Information settings available when you are creating a Class Type.

|CLASS NAME||The name of the Class Type. Your clients can see the name you enter, so it should be both descriptive and brief. This is a required field.|
|BOOK NOW TAB||A list of Book Now Tabs, which allow you to sort your available services into categories on your WellnessLiving business page, making them easier for your clients to find. If your business has multiple Book Now Tabs, select the tab(s) under which this Class Type will be displayed. You can click the Add New Tab button to create a new Book Now Tab.
You can click the Edit button to edit the book now tab or you can click the Delete button to delete the book now tab.
If you have not created or modified any Book Now Tabs, the default tab will be Classes.
Caution If you modify the Book Now Tab for a service, the direct booking URL for that service will change. Any client who uses the original direct booking URL will receive an error message.
|ACTIVE CLASS||An option that allows you to activate or deactivate this Class Type. When this option is set to OFF, this Class Type is deactivated and cannot be booked.
You cannot deactivate a Class Type if sessions have already been scheduled. In this case, you must remove all sessions of the Class Type from the schedule before you can turn the Class
|DESCRIPTION||A description of the Class Type. Your clients can see the description, so it should be descriptive and brief. This is not a required field, but it is highly recommended.
NoteIf you select This is an In-Person service, you can enter a maximum of 8192 characters for this description. If you select This is a Virtual Zoom Service, you can enter a maximum of 2000 characters for this description. For more information, see Class Type advanced settings.
|MANAGE SCHEDULE||An option that allows you to edit the schedule for this Class. This option will only display if you are modifying an existing Class.Click ADD to schedule additional sessions.
Click the Edit schedule details button beside the scheduled session to edit the Class’s details and settings.Click the Cancel classes button beside the scheduled session to cancel the Class.
|CALENDAR COLOR||The background color of the Class Type as it appears on your internal schedule. Use this to make it easier to distinguish your services from one another, or to simply liven up your schedule.|
|Capacity||Enter the maximum number of clients that will be able to attend this class. The default value is 10.|
|Clients can use these purchase options||The Purchase Options the clients can use to book the Class.
Under Available, click the Add button next to Purchase Option to allow clients to use the Purchase Option to book this Class. Under Selected, click the Remove button next to Purchase Option to prevent clients from using the Purchase Option to book this Class. You may have to browse the list or use the Search option to find a Purchase Option.
|Purchase Rules||A setting that specifies how clients can pay for and enroll in classes of this type.

|Add Special Instructions||Any special instructions your clients need to know about the service. For example, you can use this field to instruct your clients to bring gym-ready shoes to a fitness assessment.|
