Giving a client group temporary access to a video

With FitVID on Demand you can give a client group access to a video recording for a specific session and then remove that group’s access at a later time.

For example, if you want the clients who attended a Class to have access to a recording of that Class for the next 24 hours, you can create a client group with those clients, give them access to the video category containing that video, and then remove their access to that category the following day.

To provide a client group with access to a video category:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
4. On the FitVID menu, click Video Categories.
5. On the Video Categories page, create or modify a video category.
   • To create a video category, click ADD CATEGORY.
   • To modify an existing video category, click the More button on the video category you want to modify and then click the Edit button . You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the video category.
6. Under VIDEO CATEGORY NAME, enter a name for the video category.
7. Set Enable only for specific Client Groupsto ON to select which client groups can view the videos in this video category.
8. Select the individual client groups to which you want to make the videos in this category available.
9. Click SAVE.

To upload a video:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
4. On the FitVID menu, click Videos.
5. On the Videospage, click UPLOAD VIDEO.
6. Enter the details and settings for the video. For more information, see Video general information settings.
   • To give a client group access to this video, select the video category to which you gave the client group access.
7. Click SAVE.

To remove a client group’s access to a video category:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
4. On the FitVID menu, click Video Categories.
5. On the Video Categories page, find the video category you want to modify. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the video category.
6. Click the More button  on the video category you want to modify and then click the Edit more .
7. Select a specific client group to remove their access to this video category.
8. Click SAVE.
