Payroll Summary Report

The Payroll Summary Report is a staff report that displays a summary of your payroll for the selected time period.

    To view the Payroll Summary Report:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click Reports.
    3. On the Reports menu, click Staff.
    4. On the Staff menu, click Payroll Summary. The Payroll Summary Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the Payroll Summary Report

    Summary cardDescription
    PayThe total amount paid to staff members for services or sales during a selected date range.
    Tip AmountThe total amount of tips received by staff members during a selected date range.
    ServicesThe total number of services provided by staff members during a selected date range.
    BookedThe total number of services booked by clients during a selected date range.
    AttendedThe total number of booked services attended by clients during a selected date range.
    No ShowsThe total number of clients marked as no show during the selected date range. No shows are clients who missed a booked service without canceling it.
    Late CancelsThe total number of clients marked as late cancel during the selected date range.
    PurchasesThe total number of purchases made by clients during a selected date range.

    Headings in the Payroll Summary Report

    HeadingDescription
    StaffThe staff member being paid.
    HoursThe number of hours that the staff member has worked during the selected time period, calculated using the time clock feature.
    Purchase CountThe number of sales the staff member has earned commission on.
    Service CountThe number of services that the staff member conducted.
    BookedThe number of clients who booked a service with this staff member.
    AttendedThe number of clients who attended a service with this staff member.
    No ShowsThe number of clients whose attendance status was No Show for a service with this staff member.
    Late CancelsThe number of clients whose attendance status was Late Cancel for a service with this staff member.
    PayThe staff member’s pay for the selected time period.
    TipsThe total amount of tips received by the staff member for the selected time period.

    Advanced Filters in the Payroll Summary Report

    FilterDescription
    TipsUse this filter to determine whether to include staff tips in the report.
    LocationsUse this filter to determine which locations to include in the report.
    PurchasesUse this filter to determine whether sales staff members earned commission on are included in the report.
    Pay RateUse this filter to determine which payroll entries to include in the report based on the pay rate used to pay the staff member. The options available in this filter are dependent on the pay rates you have set up for your staff members.
    TimeUse this filter to determine which to include in the report based on the specific time range during which they occurred.
    Day of the WeekUse this filter to determine which to include in this report based on the day(s) of the week they occurred.
    ClassesUse this filter to determine which classes to include in the report.
    EventsUse this filter to determine which events to include in the report.
    AppointmentsUse this filter to determine which appointment types to include in the report.
    StaffUse this filter to determine which staff members to include in the report.
