Managing a Book-a-Spot asset category

You can group your Book-a-Spot assets into different asset categories to keep them organized. Asset categories appear as expandable headings on the Bookable Assets page.

In this article:

To create an asset category:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
4. On the Setup menu, click BOOK-A-SPOT.
5. Click ADD CATEGORY.
6. Enter the name of the new category.
7. Click SAVE.

To modify an asset category:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
4. On the Setup menu, click Book-a-Spot.

To delete asset category:

1. Click the App Drawer button .
2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
4. On the Setup menu, click Book-a-Spot.
5. Next to the category name, click the Remove button .
   • You can only remove an asset category if there are no assets within that category. For more information on deleting an asset, see Deactivating or deleting a Book-a-Spot asset.
