Managing a redeemable prize

Clients can redeem their rewards points for prizes through your rewards program. Redeemable prizes are automatically saved and can be redeemed by clients through the Client Web App.
There are four redeemable prize categories:

  • Award free services Clients can use rewards points for a set number of visits to a specific service.
  • Award discounts or free items in the online store Clients can use rewards points for a set discount on any item in the online store. This discount can be set to 100% to award clients an item for free.
  • Award custom prize (manual) Clients can use rewards points for a custom prize created manually by a staff member.
  • Award free memberships Clients can use rewards points for a free membership with a set duration.

NoteIf you remove a redeemable prize after a client has used their rewards points to redeem it, the points spent by the client will be added back to their total.

In this article:

    To enable or disable a redeemable prize category:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Rewards. You can filter the list by entering Rewards into the Search field.
    4. On the Rewards menu, click Redeemable Prizes.
    5. On the Redeemable Prizes page, enable or disable a prize category:
      • To enable a prize category, set the ON/OFF option to ON.
      • To disable a prize category, set the ON/OFF option to OFF. In the confirmation popup, click OK.

    To add or modify a redeemable prize:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Rewards. You can filter the list by entering Rewards into the Search field.
    4. On the Rewards menu, click Redeemable Prizes.
    5. On the Redeemable Prizes page, add or modify a redeemable prize:
      • To add a new redeemable prize, choose the category click ADD New Reward Option
      • To modify a redeemable prize, find the redeemable prize you want to modify.
    6. For the Award free services category:
      • In the Points field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
      • In the Number field, enter the quantity of the reward.
      • In the Item field, select the category of reward. If Appointment, Classes, or Events is chosen, a new item field will appear.
        1. In the Rewards list, select which service will be offered as a reward.
    7. For the Award discounts or free items in the online store category:
      • In the Points field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
      • In the Number field, enter the value of the discount.
      • In the Value Type field, select whether the discount will be a dollar-value or a percentage.
      • In the Item field, select the category of reward.
      • In the Rewards field, select which service or item will be offered as a reward.
        • If you select Any Item in the Item list, you don’t need to select a service or item in the Rewards list.
    8. For the Award custom prize (manual) category:
      • In the Points field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
      • In the Custom Name field, enter the name of the prize.
    9. For the Award free memberships category:
      • In the Points field, enter the number of points required to redeem the prize.
      • In the Number field, enter the number of weeks or months for which the membership will be active.
      • In the Duration field, select whether the membership will be active for a set number of weeks or months.
      • In the Membership field, select the membership that will be offered as a prize.

    To remove a redeemable prize:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Rewards. You can filter the list by entering Rewards into the Search field.
    4. On the Rewards menu, click Redeemable Prizes.
    5. Hover over the redeemable prize that you want to remove and click Remove.
    6. In the confirmation popup, click OK.
