Managing a video

You can make virtual instructions or promotional content available to your clients online by uploading your virtual session recordings to FitVID on Demand. After a video is uploaded, you can modify, save, or delete any videos as desired.

Clients can watch the uploaded video through the Watch Video tab on the Client Web App and Achieve Client App. For more information, see Client Web App: Watching a video and Achieve Client App: Watching FitVID on Demand videos.

Before uploading a video, keep the following information in mind:

  • You can’t upload a video to FitVID on Demand through the Elevate Staff App.
  • You can only upload a video as MOV or MP4 files.
  • We recommend that you upload your videos in 1920×1080 resolution for the best compatibility and quality. Videos with lower resolutions may not fill the screen on all devices.
  • The maximum upload size of the video is dependent on your FitVID on Demand subscription plan. We recommend that you optimize your video before uploading it. This allows you to generate a smaller video file and avoid going over the upload size limit.
  • You can check the total number of videos uploaded and the video limit per location on the Subscription Plan On the Subscription Plan page, Videos Uploaded represent the total number of published and unpublished videos across all locations and Video Limit represents the maximum number of videos that a business can upload for each location.

In this article

    To upload or modify a video:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
    4. On the FitVID menu, click Videos.
    5. On the Videos page, upload or modify a video:
      1. To upload a new video, click UPLOAD VIDEO.
      2. To modify an existing video, click the video you want to modify. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the video.
    6. Enter or change the details and settings of the video. For more information, see Video general information settings.
    7. Click SAVE.

    To save a video to your computer:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
    4. On the FitVID menu, click Videos.
    5. On the Videos page, click the video you want to save. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the video.
    6. Under VIDEO UPLOAD, right-click the video and select Save video as…
    7. In the confirmation popup, select the folder where you want the video to be saved, enter the file name, and click Save.

    To delete a video:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click FitVID. You can filter the list by entering FitVID into the Search field.
    4. On the FitVID menu, click Videos.
    5. On the Videos page, click the video you want to delete. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the video.
    6. Click DELETE VIDEO.
    7. Review the message in the confirmation popup and click OK. The video is deleted from the WellnessLiving system.
