Memberships Report

The Memberships Report is a sales report that displays a list of all client memberships that were active, expired, or on hold during the selected date range. You can use the Memberships Report to view clients with memberships placed on hold and place a mass hold on memberships. The summary cards at the top of the page provide an overview of the key information in the report.

    To view the Memberships Report

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click Reports.
    3. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
    4. On the Sales menu, click Memberships. The Memberships Report is displayed.

    Summary cards in the Memberships Report

    Summary cards Description
    Lost Memberships The total number of memberships lost during the selected date range. A lost membership refers to when a client cancels any of their memberships or allows any of their memberships to expire.
    Memberships The total number of memberships held by clients during the selected date range.
    New Members The total number of clients who purchased a membership during the selected date range.
    Active The total number of active memberships during the selected date range.
    On Hold The total number of memberships on hold during the selected date range.

    Headings in the Memberships Report

    Heading Description
    Client The client who owns the membership. Relevant details about this customer, such as pass status, waiver status, contract status, special notes, unpaid visits, and account balance will be noted here by small icons. Hover over any icon to learn more.
    First Name The client’s first name.
    Last Name The client’s last name.
    Email The client’s email address.
    Phone Number The client’s mobile phone number.
    Member ID The client’s member ID.
    Purchase Option The membership owned by the client.
    Start Date The date that the membership became active. If the membership was prorated, this column will display the date the membership was prorated from, not the date selected as the start date for the membership during checkout. See Prorating membership payment to learn more.
    End Date The date that the membership becomes inactive. If the membership has no end date, Ongoing is displayed.
    Termination Date If the membership has been set to terminate, the termination date will be listed in this column.
    Date of Last Bill The date of the client’s most recent bill for the membership.
    Amount of Last Bill The amount last paid by the client for the membership.
    Date of Next Bill The date of the client’s next bill for the membership.
    Amount of Next Bill The amount of the client’s next bill for the membership.
    Status The active status of the membership. The possible statuses a membership can have are Active, Expired, and On Hold. To learn more about membership holds, see Placing a membership on hold.

    Advanced Filters in the Membership Report

    Filter Description
    Membership Status Use this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their membership status. Membership statuses can be Active, Canceled, Expired, and Not Activated.
    Auto-Renew Use this filter to determine whether auto-renewals of Purchase Options are included in the report.
    Locations Use this filter to determine which business location(s) to include in the report.
    Class & Event Memberships Use this filter to determine which Class & Events Memberships to include in the report. Class & Events Memberships are Memberships with the Class/Events Membership Service Category.
    Display Canceled Memberships Use this filter to determine whether to include canceled memberships in the report.
    Groups Use this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group.
    NoteThis filter will pull any relevant information from the available fields. For example, if you filter for groups A, B, and C, the filter will find clients from group A, group B, group C, and any combination thereof, as opposed to only finding clients who belong to all three groups.
    Account Memberships Use this filter to determine which Account Memberships to include in the report. Account Memberships are Memberships with the Account Membership Service Category.
    Appointment Memberships Use this filter to determine which Appointment Memberships to include in the report. Appointment Memberships are Memberships with the Appointment Membership Service Category.
    Gym Memberships Use this filter to determine which Gym Memberships to include in the report. Gym Memberships are Memberships with the Gym Membership Service Category.
