Organizing services on the schedule

The order in which services appear on the schedule and the Custom Schedule Widget is dependent on the time of the service and their order on their respective pages in the Setup menu. Appointments and assets will not be displayed on the Custom Schedule Widget.

Below is a list of rules which dictate the order in which services are displayed on the schedule and the Custom Schedule Widget:

  • Services that occur at the same time are displayed in the order in which they appear on the Appointment Types page, the Bookable Assets page, the Classes page, and the Events page.
  • If an appointment, an asset, a class, and an event are scheduled for the same time, the appointment will be displayed first, the asset will be displayed second, the class will be displayed third, and the event will be displayed last.
  • If two appointments or two assets are scheduled for the same time, the order in which they are displayed on the schedule will be determined by the appointment category or asset category they are placed in on the Appointment Types page and Bookable Assets page.
    • For example, if Appointment A and Appointment B are both scheduled to occur at 2:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, but Appointment B is in Category 1 and Appointment A is in Category 2 on the Appointments Types page, Appointment B will appear first on the schedule.

    To organize services on the schedule and Custom Schedule Widget:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
    4. On the Setup menu, click Services.
    5. On the Services menu, click Classes, Appointments, Events, or Book-a-Spot depending on which services you want to organize on the schedule and Custom Schedule Widget.
    6. Organize the services as you want them displayed on the schedule and Custom Schedule Widget:
      • Drag and drop services into the order you want them to appear on the schedule and Custom Schedule Widget.
      • Click the Move Up or Move Down buttons on a category to change the order in which the services will be ordered on the schedule and Custom Schedule Widget.
    7. Your changes will be saved automatically.

    To sort services in the Setup menu:

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
    4. On the Setup menu, click Services.
    5. On the Services menu, click Classes or Events,
    6. Click the Sort button .
    7. Sort the classes or events in one of the following ways:
      • Name — The services will be sorted in an alphanumeric order. Services can be sorted A-Z (Ascending) or Z-A (Descending).
      • Price — The services will be sorted based on their price. Services can be sorted with the lowest priced service listed first (Low to high) or the highest priced service listed first (High to low).
      • Date — The services will be sorted based on the date of the next bookable session for each service. Services can be sorted with the service with the furthest bookable session listed first (Oldest on top) or the service with the earliest bookable session listed first (Newest on top).
        • If the Classes or Events page is refreshed, the sort filter will revert to its default state.
        • The order in which the services are sorted will determine the order in which these services will appear in the Client Web App and Achieve Client App.
