Printing receipts

Receipts can be printed from various areas of the WellnessLiving system. Review the instructions below to learn how to print receipts from these areas.

In this article:

To print a receipt after making a sale:

  1. Make a sale.
  2. Choose the type of printer to use.
    • To print the receipt using a regular printer, click Print Receipt.
    • To print the receipt using a receipt printer, click Receipt Printer.
  3. Choose the correct printer in the pop-up window.
  4. Click Print. The receipt is printed.

To print a receipt from a client’s profile as a staff member:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click Search and type the client’s information in the box. You can type the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
  2. In the list that is displayed, click the appropriate client.
  3. On the side menu, click Account.
    • On the Account menu, click Passes & Memberships. The client’s active Purchase Options are displayed. This list may be searched or filtered by the status or type of the Purchase Option.
    • On the Account menu, click Purchases. The client’s recent purchases are displayed. This list may be searched or filtered by date.
    • On the Account menu, click Transactions. The client’s recent transactions are displayed. This list may be searched or filtered by date.
  4. In the list, find the item for which a receipt should be printed.
  5. Under Action, click the Action button  and select Email Receipt.
    • To print the receipt using a regular printer, click Print Receipt.
    • To print the receipt using a receipt printer, click Receipt Printer.
      • If you are using a Star Printer with Windows:
        1. Select Star TSP100 or Stat TSP143 as the Destination, depending on the printer model that you have.
        2. Click More Settings to adjust the settings for the receipt:
          1. Set Margins to None.
          2. Set Scale to Custom and enter 55. You may need to adjust this number. Zoom into the receipt preview to determine how the value of the scale impacts the information displayed on the receipt.
      •  If you are using a Star Printer with Mac:
        1. If you have not already, download and install the appropriate software to use your printer. You can download the software here.
        2. Next to Printer, click in the menu and select Star TSP100 or Stat TSP143, depending on the printer model that you have. If this is the first time that you are using the printer, select Add Printer.
        3. Select the appropriate Star Printer model, then click Add.
        4. Next to Paper Size, click Manage Custom Sizes to set the paper size:

          1. Set the Width of the Paper Size to 72 mm and the Height to 250 mm.
          2. Under Non-Printable Area, click the list and select User Defined.
          3. Set Top and Bottom to 6.35 mm. Set Left and Right to 3.35 mm.
          4. Click OK.
          5. Next to Scale, enter 90.
  6. In the print preview window, change any necessary printer options, then click Print. The receipt is printed.

To print a receipt from the client’s profile as a client:

  1. Log in to the Client Web Portal.
  2. On the top menu, click My Profile.
    • In the profile menu, click Passes & Memberships. Your active Purchase Options are displayed. This list may be searched or filtered by the Purchase Option status or type.
    • In the profile menu, click Transactions. Your recent transactions are displayed. This list may be searched or filtered by date.
  3. In the list, find the item for which a receipt should be emailed.
  4. Click Actions.
    • To print the receipt using a regular printer, click Print Receipt.
    • To print the receipt using a receipt printer, click Receipt Printer.
      • If you are using a Star Printer with Windows:
        1. Select Star TSP100 or Stat TSP143 as the Destination, depending on the printer model that you have.
        2. Click More Settings to adjust the settings for the receipt:

To print a receipt from the All Transactions Details Report:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click Reports.
  3. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
  4. In your list of reports, click All Transactions Details. Your All Transactions Details Report is displayed. This report may be searched or filtered by date.
  5. In the list, find the item for which a receipt should be printed.
  6. Under Action, click the More button .
    • To print the receipt using a regular printer, click Print Receipt.
    • To print the receipt using a receipt printer, click Receipt Printer.
      • If you are using a Star Printer with Windows:
        1. Select Star TSP100 or Stat TSP143 as the Destination, depending on the printer model that you have.
