Pushing a setting to enterprise locations

Corporate enterprises can push settings such as services, Purchase Options, and client types, to one or more of their enterprise locations and choose whether to override existing primary and dependency settings at the selected enterprise location(s) even if they were modified or pushed to an enterprise location previously.

To learn more about how an enterprise push works, see Enterprise push rules.

NoteWhen you push a Purchase Option to an enterprise location that sells the same Purchase Option at a higher price, the higher price is retained.

To push a setting to enterprise locations:

  1. Click the App Drawer button .
  2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
  3. In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
  4. On the Setup menu, click Enterprise.
  5. On the Enterprise menu, click Enterprise Settings.
  6. Click the Push button next to the enterprise setting you want to push. For more information, see Enterprise setting options.
  7. Review the displayed settings and select the options you want to push.
    • To view dependencies for the displayed settings, click SHOW DEPENDENCY. These dependencies will also be pushed to the enterprise locations you select.
  8. Click NEXT.
  9. Select the enterprise locations to which you want to push the setting. You can filter your enterprise locations by toggling between Country, Region, State/Province, or Location.
  10. Follow the remaining steps to confirm and push the enterprise settings.
    • If you’re pushing any Business or Look and Feel settings, or the Client’s Profile Fields, Transformation Log, Payment Methods, or Custom Schedule widget, click CONFIRM.
    • If you’re pushing any other settings, review the primary and dependency push settings, choose if you want to override existing enterprise location settings, and then click PUSH. In the confirmation popup, click PUSH. By default, these settings are turned off.
      • To override existing primary settings, set Push corporate primary settings and override existing enterprise location settings to ON.
        • To apply primary push settings to previously sold Purchase Options, set Apply corporate primary settings to previously sold Purchase Options to ON. This setting is only available if the primary push setting is a Purchase Option.
        • If an enterprise location doesn’t have the primary push setting in place, the setting will be pushed to the enterprise location regardless of whether this setting is turned on or off.
      • To override existing dependency settings, under Dependency Settings, set Push corporate settings for dependencies and override existing enterprise location settings to ON.
        • To apply dependency settings to previously sold Purchase Options, set Apply corporate settings for dependencies to previously sold Purchase Options to ON. This setting is only available if the dependency or the primary push setting is a Purchase Option.
