Reactivating a client

You can reactivate a client’s profile if they want to use your services again. To reactivate a client, you must have the appropriate staff role permission to manage client profiles and the client must have been a client at your business who got deactivated. You can view a list of deactivated clients within your business by filtering your client list, for more information, see Locating deactivated clients.

To learn how to deactivate a client, see Deactivating a client.

Before reactivating a client, keep the following information in mind:

  • A reactivated client is considered active in the system and can be booked and checked into services.
  • A reactivated client will appear in the client list by default.
  • A reactivated client will receive client notifications, such as email notifications when enabled.

If you’re activating a guest profile and converting it to a client profile, keep the following in mind:

  • The CLIENT SINCE date on their new client profile will permanently change to the date you activated the guest profile.
  • Any activity already completed by this guest will now be attributed to their client profile and will be displayed that way in any reports.
  • The new client must now sign any mandatory waivers.

To reactivate a client:

  1. On the Top Nav Bar, click the Search button .
  2. Click the Search options button and set the Include Deactivated Clients option to ON.
  3. Enter the client’s information in the box. You can enter the client’s name, phone number, email address, UID, or client ID.
  4. On the client’s Overview page, set the ACTIVATE CLIENT option to ON.
    • If you’re activating a guest, you must fill out the required fields before the guest profile is converted to a client profile.
