Sales Summary by Location Beta Report

The Sales Summary by Location Beta Report is a sales report that displays an overview of your sales during the selected date range, sorted by location.

This article describes how to view the Sales Summary by Location Beta Report and provides details of the columns that appear in the report. To learn how to customize and filter the report, see Viewing a report.

    To view the Sales Summary By Location Beta Report

    1. Click the App Drawer button .
    2. In the App Drawer, click View All.
    3. In the list, click Reports. You can filter the list by entering Reports into the Search field.
    4. On the Reports menu, click Sales.
    5. On the Sales menu, click Sales Summary by Location Beta Report. The Sales Summary by Location Beta Report Report is displayed.

    Total TransactionsThe total number of transactions made at different locations during the selected date range.
    Total SalesThe total amount of sales during the selected date range.
    TaxesThe total amount of taxes during the selected date range.

    Headings in the Sales Summary By Location Beta Report

    HeadingDescription
    LocationThe name of the location.
    SubtotalThe total amount of revenue made from sales at the location before taxes and discounts.
    TaxesThe value of any taxes applied to sales made at the location.
    DiscountThe value of any discounts applied to sales made at the location.
    Total TipsThe total amount of tips earned by the staff member who made the sale.
    Total SurchargeThe total amount of surcharges paid by the client.
    TotalThe total amount of revenue made from sales at the location after taxes and discounts.

    Advanced filters in the Sales Summary By Location Beta Report

    FilterDescription
    View ModeUse this filter to determine the method by which each line item in the report is organized. The options are:

    • Item View – When this filter is selected, the information displayed will be pulled from the All Transaction Report’s Item View.
    • Payment View – When this filter is selected, the information displayed will be pulled from the All Transaction Report’s Payment View.
    Bookable AssetsUse this filter to determine which BOOK-A-SPOT™ assets to include in the report.
    Display sales with discountsUse this filter to determine whether to include discounted sales in the report.
    GroupsUse this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group.
    NoteThis filter will pull any relevant information from the available fields. For example, if you filter for groups A, B, and C, the filter will find clients from group A, group B, group C, and any combination thereof, as opposed to only finding clients who belong to all three groups.
    Gym Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which gym purchase options to include in the report. Gym purchase options are purchase options with Gym Visits Options selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    LocationsUse this filter to determine which locations to include in the report.

    You can also use this filter to view purchases clients are making online. For example, if one of your business locations is named Location A, there will be both a Location A filter and a Location A Online filter available. The Location A filter will filter for sales made by staff members through the Elevate Staff App or who are signed into Location A for clients whose home location is Location A. The Location A Online filter will filter for purchases made through the Client Web App or the Achieve Client App by clients whose home location is Location A.

    Account Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which account purchase options to include in the report. Account purchase options are purchase options with Account Tab selected as the Purchase Option Service Category.     Class & Events Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which class/event purchase options to include in the report. Class/event purchase options are purchase options with Class/Events selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Asset Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which asset purchase options to include in the report. Asset purchase options are purchase options with Asset selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Charged TaxesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether the client was or was not charged taxes.
    DepositUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether they were made with or without a deposit.
    ProductsUse this filter to determine which product(s) to include in the report.
    Gift CardsUse this filter to determine which gift cards to include in the report.
    ClassesUse this filter to determine which classes to include in the report.
    EventsUse this filter to determine which events to include in the report.
    AppointmentsUse this filter to determine which appointment types to include in the report.
    Revenue CategoriesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the revenue categories they are classified under.
    OthersUse this filter to determine whether to include other purchases in the report.
    Daily DealsUse this filter to determine which Groupon deals to include in the report.
    Discount CodesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which discount codes were applied to the sale.
    Payment MethodUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the payment methods used.
    Auto-RenewUse this filter to determine which Purchase Options to include based on whether auto-renew is on or off.
    Appointments Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which appointments purchase options to include in the report. Appointments purchase options are purchase options with Appointment selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass.
    Package Purchase OptionsUse this filter to determine which package(s) to include in the report. For more information, see Creating or modifying a package.
    TaxesUse this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which tax types were applied to them. The options available in this filter are dependent on the taxes you have set up in your store. Selecting a tax filter will display all sales to which that tax was applied. Selecting the No taxes filter will filter for sales that do not have taxes applied to them.
    NoteIf the tax amount of a sale is manually changed to zero when the sale is made, the sale will still be considered taxed and can be filtered for using the appropriate tax filter.
