The Sales with Revenue Categories Report is a sales report that displays a detailed list of sales made at your business during the selected date range, sorted by client and revenue category.

To view the Sales With Revenue Categories Report:
- Click the App Drawer button
.
- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Reports. You can filter the list by entering Reports into the Search field.
- On the Reports menu, click Sales.
- On the Sales menu, click Sales With Revenue Categories. The Sales With Revenue Categories Report is displayed.
Summary cards in the Sales With Revenue Categories Report
Summary cards | Description |
Sales | The total amount of sales during the selected date range. |
Taxes | The total amount of taxes during the selected date range. |
Total | The total number of sales made during the selected date range. |
Headings in the Sales With Revenue Categories Report
Heading | Description |
Date | The date and time that the sale was made is listed in this column. |
Generated by | The name, email, phone number, and profile image of the client to whom the sale was made is listed in this column. Relevant details about this customer, such as pass status, waiver status, contract status, special notes, unpaid visits, and account balance will be noted here by small icons. Hover over any icon to learn more. If the sale was made to a guest was sent an email notification, Guest appears in this column. You can click Guest to open their guest profile. |
Location | The location that the sale was made at is listed in this column. |
Purchase | The item that was sold is listed in this column. |
Category | The revenue category that the item is organized under is listed in this column. |
Item Price | The value of the item before any discounts or taxes is listed in this column. |
Quantity | The number of items sold to the client on the date is listed in this column. |
Discount Code | If a discount was applied to the sale, the value of the discount is listed in this column. |
Subtotal | The value of the sale after discounts and before taxes is listed in this column. |
Taxes | The value of taxes applied to the sale is listed in this column. |
Total Amount | The total amount of the sale after discounts and including taxes. |
User | The staff member whose account was used to perform the action is listed in this column. Actions that were not performed directly by a staff member (e.g., automated billing) are listed as automatic payments. Hover over this name to view the IP address from which this action originated. |
Auto Payment | If payment was made using auto-payment, this column is labelled Auto-Payment. |
Advanced filters in the Sales With Revenue Categories Report
Filter | Description |
Bookable Assets | Use this filter to determine which Book-a-Spot assets to include in the report. |
Locations | Use this filter to determine which locations to include in the report. You can also use this filter to view purchases clients are making online. For example, if one of your business locations is named Location A, there will be both a Location A filter and a Location A Online filter available. The Location A filter will filter for sales made by staff members through the Elevate Staff App or who are signed into Location A for clients whose home location is Location A. The Location A Online filter will filter for purchases made through the Client Web App or the Achieve Client App by clients whose home location is Location A. |
Discount Codes | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which discount codes were applied to the sale. |
Payment method | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the payment methods used. |
Deposit | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether they were made with or without a deposit. |
Products | Use this filter to determine which product(s) to include in the report. |
Packages | Use this filter to determine which package(s) to include in the report. To learn how to create a package, see Creating or modifying a package. |
Classes | Use this filter to determine which classes to include in the report. |
Events | Use this filter to determine which events to include in the report. |
Appointments | Use this filter to determine which appointment types to include in the report. |
Appointments Purchase Options | Use this filter to determine which appointments purchase options to include in the report. Appointments purchase options are purchase options with Appointment selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass. |
Class & Events Purchase Options | Use this filter to determine which class/event purchase options to include in the report. Class/event purchase options are purchase options with Class/Events selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass. |
Revenue Categories | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on the revenue categories they are classified under. |
Others | Use this filter to determine whether to include other purchases in the report. |
Purchase or Money Owner | Use this filter to determine which items to include in the report based on who made the purchase; the client who received the item or the client who paid for the item. |
Display sales with discounts | Use this filter to determine whether to include discounted sales in the report. |
Groups | Use this filter to determine which clients to include in the report based on their client group. NoteThis filter will pull any relevant information from the available fields. For example, if you filter for groups A, B, and C, the filter will find clients from group A, group B, group C, and any combination thereof, as opposed to only finding clients who belong to all three groups. |
Gym Purchase Options | Use this filter to determine which gym purchase options to include in the report. Gym purchase options are purchase options with Gym Visits Options selected as the Purchase Option Service Category. For more information, see Creating or modifying a membership or Creating or modifying a session pass. |
Auto-Renew | Use this filter to determine which Purchase Options to include based on whether auto-renew is on or off. |
Charged Taxes | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on whether the client was or was not charged taxes. |
Taxes | Use this filter to determine which sales to include in the report based on which tax types were applied to them. The options available in this filter are dependent on the taxes you have set up in your store. Selecting a tax filter will display all sales to which that tax was applied. Selecting the No taxes filter will filter for sales that do not have taxes applied to them. NoteIf the tax amount of a sale is manually changed to zero when the sale is made, the sale will still be considered taxed and can be filtered for using the appropriate tax filter. |
