The Do Not Disturb feature lets you disable automated notifications for a specified period of time. You can set Do Not Disturb periods for automated marketing, client notifications, and staff notifications, and any notifications that would be sent out during the Do Not Disturb period are delayed until the period is over.
For example, if you add a new class to your schedule during a Do Not Disturb period for automated marketing, a class announcement email will be displayed in your clients’ Contact History, but the status will be Pending. After the Do Not Disturb period ends, the email will be sent automatically, the status of the email will change to Unopened, and the timestamp will be updated to the time the email was generated.
- Do Not Disturb periods are automatically converted to each client’s local time zone. For example, if you have clients in the EST and PST time zones and you set a Do Not Disturb period to start at 11:00 pm, it will start at 11:00 pm EST for clients in the EST time zone and at 11:00 pm PST for clients in the PST time zone.
- A client’s local time zone is defined on their client profile if business policy settings allow it. Otherwise, it is defined as the time zone set for their home location.
- Welcome notifications and Password Reset Request notifications are still sent to clients during Do Not Disturb periods for client notifications.
- If there are a large number of pending emails after the Do Not Disturb period ends, it may take a longer amount of time for all the pending emails to be sent.
- Adjusting the hours of a Do Not Disturb period or disabling it will have no effect on notifications that are already Pending. Pending notifications will be held until the scheduled time from the previous Do Not Disturb period.

To enable or adjust a Do Not Disturb period:
- Click the App Drawer button

- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click Notifications.
- On the Notifications menu, click Do Not Disturb.
- On the Do Not Disturb page, enable or adjust the Do Not Disturb period:
- To enable a Do Not Disturb period:
- Set the appropriate notification category option to ON.
- Select the times at which the Do Not Disturb period will begin and end. You can select times from dropdown lists in the From and to fields, or you can enter custom times.
- To adjust a Do Not Disturb period, select different start or end times from dropdown lists in the From and to fields, or enter custom times.
- To enable a Do Not Disturb period:
- Click Save.
To disable a Do Not Disturb period:
- Click the App Drawer button
.
- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click Notifications.
- On the Notifications menu, click Do Not Disturb.
- On the Do Not Disturb page, set the appropriate notification category option to OFF.
- Click Save.
