Setting up your business URLs

You must customize your business and social networking URLs to facilitate communication and interaction with your customers. For a description of each business URL, see Business URLs.

When configuring your business URLs, you define a custom URL that will be used by several of your business URLs. By default, the URL begins with, followed by the page function, and then your custom URL. For example, will direct your clients to the Daily Deal Redemption page for My Business. For that reason, we recommend you choose an easy to remember custom URL that includes your business name.

Caution Your custom URL is used in many of your business URLs. Changing your custom URL means that your existing URLs will no longer work. If you change your custom URL after setting up your business and distributing links to your clients, you will need to update and distribute new links.
Note If you have social media accounts for each of your business locations, you can set them individually within the location settings. See Location-specific business URLs to learn more.
