Staff notification types

This article describes all the staff notifications available in WellnessLiving.

NoteSome notifications are sent only to staff members who have the appropriate staff role permissions.

NoteDirect links can be used in notifications to confirm or cancel bookings. Staff members will be prompted to log in to their account with your business to access these links.

NoteIf you want to embed a video in your email template, you must contact your email provider to see if they allow you to send embedded videos in emails.

    Appointments

    Notification typeDescription
    Appointment CanceledSent when an Appointment booked with the staff member is canceled cancelled or when another staff member is substituting for them.
    Appointment Change General Information (Staff Notification)Sent when the Appointment Type of an Appointment booked with the staff member is modified.
    Appointment Change (Staff Notification)Sent when an Appointment booked with the staff member is modified.
    New AppointmentIf staff members must approve appointment requests, then this notification is sent when the staff member accepts a client’s request for an Appointment.

    This notification is also sent to a staff member when they have been selected as a substitute to host an Appointment.

    Recurrent Appointment Cancelled (Staff Notification)Sent when the repeating sessions of a recurring Appointment booked with the staff member is cancelled.
    Appointment RequestedSent when an Appointment is booked with the staff member and the Appointment Type has Require Staff Approval set to Client must request an appointment for staff to approve. For more information, see Appointment Type general information settings.
    Appointment Reminder (Staff)Sent to remind the staff member of an upcoming Appointment. By default, this notification is sent one hour before the Appointment.

    Attendance list

    Notification typeDescription
    Attendance ListA daily notification that includes attendance information for the staff member’s Classes each day.

    Classes

    Notification typeDescription
    Class BookingSent when a client is booked into a Class that is scheduled with the staff member.
    Class Booking CancellationSent when a client’s booking for a Class that is scheduled with the staff member is canceled.
    Class Schedule Details Have ChangedSent when a client’s booking for a Class that is scheduled with the staff member is cancelled.
    Recurrent Class BookingSent to inform the staff member that a client has successfully been booked into a recurring Class session that the staff member is running.
    Recurrent Class Booking CancellationSent to inform staff member that a client’s booking has been cancelled for a recurring class session that the staff member is running.
    Class Schedule Staff SubstitutionSent when the staff member associated with a scheduled Class is changed.
    Class Schedule Staff Substitution ReminderSent to the substitute staff member to remind them of an upcoming Class. By default, this notification is sent one hour before the Class.

    New Customer ReviewSent when a client leaves a review for the business. For more information, see Client reviews.

    Events

    Notification typeDescription
    Event Booking CancellationSent when a client’s booking for an Event that is scheduled with the staff member is cancelled.
    Event BookingSent when a client is booked into an Event that is scheduled with the staff member.

    Online store

    Notification typeDescription
    Product re-order level reachedSent when a product’s inventory reaches the set re-order level determined under Inventory Tracking. For more information, see Product advanced settings.

    Purchases

    Notification TypeDescription
    Sale Has Been MadeSent when a client makes a purchase from the store or when a staff member makes a sale.

    Reward points

    Notification typeDescription
    Client Prize RedemptionSent when a client uses their rewards points balance to redeem a prize. For more information, see Rewards program.

    Staff task

    Notification typeDescription
    Assigned taskSent when a task is assigned to the staff member via the task manager. For more information, see Task manager.
