Troubleshooting: Client receives an Email Already Exists error when registering with your business

Problem

A client receives an error message stating that their email already exists when trying to register with your business using the using the Self Registration Web App, but there are no clients associated with that email registered with your business.

Solution

To resolve the issue, follow the instructions below. If the issue persists after completing these steps, please contact WellnessLiving Support.

If the confirmation popup appears when a client is registering for a new account, this means that the client has used the same email address to register an account with another business. To resolve this issue, staff members must register the new client on their behalf. After entering the client’s email, a confirmation popup will appear, and the staff member must click Yes, this is the correct user after verifying the user information. After setting up the profile, the client will be added to your client list and their account with your business will become available.
