Problem
A staff member cannot be assigned as an instructor for a Class, Appointment, or Event.
Solution
There are a few steps that must be completed in the WellnessLiving system before a staff member can be assigned to instruct a service. Review the steps below to resolve this issue:
- Check the service settings:
- Click the App Drawer button

- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click hidden.
- On the hidden menu, click hidden.
- Click Appointments, Classes, or Events, depending on the type of service that you are trying to associate with the staff member.
- If the type of service is an Appointment, click the Appointment that should be associated with the staff member. You may have to browse the list
, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the Appointment.- Under Staff, ensure that the checkbox next to the staff member’s name is selected.
- Click SAVE.
- If the type of service is a Class, click Add/Modify under CLASSES SCHEDULED for the Class that should be associated with the staff member.
- For the appropriate session click the Edit button

- Click Next until STEP 3 is selected. Next to INSTRUCTOR, click the Edit button
.
- Ensure the staff member’s name is selected. Click the Add Staff button
to add a staff member. Click the Remove Staff button
to remove a staff member.
- For the appropriate session click the Edit button
- If the type of service is an Event, click Add/Modify under SESSIONS SCHEDULED for the Class that should be associated with the staff member.
- For the appropriate session click the Edit button

- Click Next until STEP 3 is selected. Next to INSTRUCTOR, click the Edit button
.
- Ensure the staff member’s name is selected. Click the Add Staff button
to add a staff member. Click the Remove Staff button
to remove a staff member.
- For the appropriate session click the Edit button
- Click the App Drawer button
- If the staff member still cannot be assigned to the service, check their staff profile settings:
- Click the App Drawer button
.
- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click Staff.
- On the Staff menu, click Staff Members.
- In the list, click the staff member who should be associated with the service.
- Click Services.
- Ensure that the checkbox next to the service’s name is selected.
- Click SAVE.
- Click the App Drawer button
