Each product can be associated with a barcode. A product’s barcode is a unique identifying number that can be used in the store to quickly add the product to the shopping cart when making a sale.
In this article:
To assign a barcode to a product:
- Click the App Drawer button

- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Setup. You can filter the list by entering Setup into the Search field.
- On the Setup menu, click Store Configuration.
- On the Store Configuration menu, click Products.
- On the Products page, add or modify a product:
- To add a new product, click ADD PRODUCT.
- To associate a barcode to an existing product, click the product in the list. You may have to browse the list, use the Search option, or filter the list to find the product.
- Enter the barcode that you want to associate with the product in one of the following ways:
- Under BARCODE #, enter a custom barcode number.
- To generate a random barcode, hover over the BARCODE # box and click the Generate barcode button

- You can optionally assign a SKU number to the product for inventory tracking purposes. Under SKU #, enter a custom SKU number.
- Click SAVE.
To use a barcode to add a product to the shopping cart:
- Click the App Drawer button
.
- In the App Drawer, click View All.
- In the list, click Store. You can filter the list by entering Store into the Search field.
- On the Store menu, click hidden.
- On the hidden menu, click hidden.
- Add a product to the shopping cart in one of the following ways:
- Under Products and Services, click the Search Products box and scan the barcode with a connected barcode scanner. WellnessLiving officially supports the Zebra DS9308-SR scanner. For more information, see Configuring the Zebra DS9308-SR barcode scanner.
- Under Products and Services, enter the barcode number in the Search Products box.
