Using your credit card swiper and credit card mobile reader

If your business is integrated with a merchant processor, credit card swipers and credit card mobile readers can be used to scan clients’ credit cards to quickly  input and save their credit card information when making sales in the store.

NoteCredit card swipers and credit card mobile readers are only supported for U.S. customers (exceptions can be made in some circumstances). For more information, contact merchant@wellnessliving.com.

NoteIf you have purchased one of our credit card mobile readers and it is not working properly after setup, refer to this troubleshooting article to check your settings.

    Using your credit card swiper with USB port:

    1. Complete steps 1-8 in Making a sale.
    2. Select Card Swiper as your payment method.
    3. Click Swipe Card, then use the credit card swiper to swipe the credit card. An alert will appear on the screen indicating that the card has been accepted and you will hear two beeps.
    4. Click Complete. The sale is complete.

    Using your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack) with Argus as your merchant processor:

    1. After configuring your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack), complete steps 1-9 in Elevate Staff App: Making a purchase.
    2. Select Card Swiper as your payment method.
    3. Use the credit card swiper to swipe the credit card.
    4. Tap Complete. The sale is complete.

    Using your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack) with Paragon as your merchant processor:

    For detailed instructions on how to use your credit card swiper (headphone jack), watch this video:

    1. Make sure your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack) is fully charged before your first use. You will know it is fully charged when the light on the swiper piece turns green.
    2. After configuring your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack), complete steps 1-9 in Elevate Staff App: Making a purchase.
    3. Select Card Swiper as your payment method.
    4. Use the credit card swiper to swipe the credit card.
    5. Tap Complete. The sale is complete.

    Using your credit card mobile reader (lightning port):

    NoteThe credit card mobile reader (lightning port) is only compatible if your business has Paragon merchant processing and is using an Apple product.

    1. Make sure your credit card mobile reader (lightning port) and the Apple device with which you will use the reader are fully charged before your first use.
    2. After configuring your credit card mobile reader (headphone jack), complete steps 1-9 in Elevate Staff App: Making a purchase.
    3. Use the credit card swiper to swipe the credit card.
    4. Tap Complete. The sale is complete.
