I have fallen in love with this place. The classes are full of fun and motivation, the members have become friends and not just people who work out next to me. The coaches are motivating, knowledgeable, and can help individuals of all skill levels. I have never been big on working out and now I race out the door after work to make it to class. Joining was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Coach Shelly has practiced yoga for 17 years and taught for 9 years. This experience is bolstered by knowledge she’s gained from studying anatomy and working in physical therapy.
She possesses a passion for healing others and that shines through the classes she teaches. “With my background in anatomy and physical therapy I can easily help students modify their yoga practice to account for various injuries, conditions, or skill sets.”
Though she has experience teaching various levels, she loves teaching members who are new to yoga - “I love working with new students because I can shape their first experiences with the practice.”
When you practice with Coach Shelly, you can expect to learn foundational movements and poses, with an emphasis on the inner experience of the practice. She encourages members to leave self judgements at the door so they can build inner balance and strength of mind and body.
