Using traditional & modern training techniques, Muay Thai provides an un-matched “full body” work out, incorporating Muay Thai techniques, Muay Thai calisthenics and cardio conditioning.
Muay Thai features punches, kicks, elbows, knees, standing and even grappling. Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardio-vascular endurance, as well as fighting spirit. Muay Thai training is also quite safe thanks to sophisticated pad training that has evolved to keep fighters healthy between fights. Muay Thai has also proven very effective outside the ring and has been embraced enthusiastically by practitioners of a variety of self-defense, sporting, military and law enforcement activities.
Our program is tailored to both the competitive practitioner, as well as the casual enthusiast who simply want to increase their fitness level and self-defense capabilities. Our instructors have over 17 years of Muay Thai and competitive martial arts experience. Beginners, intermediate and advanced levels are always welcomed at the Chicago Muay Thai Kickboxing Club!
