We are central Mississippi's only Gracie Univeristy Certified
Training Center. This means that we are the only school authorized
and certified to teach the proprietary programs taught at Gracie
University Headquarters in Torrance, California. These programs,
Gracie Combatives, Gracie Bullyproof, Women Empowered, and the
Master Cycle are all unique to Gracie University Certified Training
Centers. They offer unique curriculums that allow the students to
know each day what is being taught in the class and as a family
member at any of the certified training centers world wide, have
access to all the curriculum in video format taught by the founders
of Gracie University, Ryron and Rener Gracie. They are the two
eldest grandsons of Helio Gracie, the man who started Gracie
Jiu-Jitsu. Every class is taught to the same standards by certified
instructors who have been through a rigorous instructor program. At
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Madison, your instructors are teachers first and
foremost and want to grow you in the art in a safe manner while
focusing on the importance of self defense first. Our entire
curriculum is devoted to the self defense side of jiu-jitsu first.
While we teach more advanced techniques in our Master Cycle
classes, we know that the first thing you learn is the hardest to
forget. Therefore, our dedication to street self defense with an
emphasis on the fundamentals first in a manner that is designed to
keep everyone safe, truly distinguishes our programs from
others.
