Newbie to pole dancing here! But the instructor was VERY inclusive for me and my friends and she slowed down for us and her choreography was amazing!
Myss Angie is a leader and visionary that believes in helping
empower women, strengthening the community, and bringing pole dance
and the performance arts to new platforms.
She loves seeing the first snow fall in winter and putting her
feet in the sand in the summer. Pole dance moves her to appreciate
her body and the gift of freedom like nothing else can.
She organizes events such as the Land of Lakes Pole Dance
Festival (LOLPoleFest), Minnesota Pole Competitions (MNPC), MN Pole
Star Championship (MNPSC), Twin Cities Performing Art Convention
(TCPAC), The Flying Pinups Jamboree, Cirque du Pole, and the Shake,
Rattle, n’ Pole Show., to name a few.
Myss Angie has been teaching, training, and performing pole
dance and fitness since 2009, a pole sport judge since 2014, holds
1st Place Champion at the Central Pole Championships for her pole
double routine with Dakota Wolfe and 3rd Place Champion for her
double routine with Cheryl Birch.
Her background includes 7 years of work as a mental health
counselor, a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University
of Minnesota, and extensive work creating and implementing
nutrition programs at a nutrition clinic for two years.
Angie now continues to teach fitness, pole, and nutrition at
Knockout Bodies, in her home studio, The Rabbit Hole Studio /
Minnesota Performing Art Cooperative, and works full time behind
Pole and Performing Art and MyssAngie.com projects and events.
