I am a 57 year old woman and was looking for a way to get in shape, relieve some stress and learn some defensive techniques. Jack and Mary Lou have been so helpful, as have all the others in the classes. I highly recommend this club to anyone that needs to get out and do something for themselves.
Nick Jones started his formal martial arts training in 2008 when he moved to Seoul, South Korea, where he studied Taekwondo under Master Kim at Yongin University, achieving 1st Dan black belt within two years.
Upon returning to Canada in 2010, he discovered his passion for Muay Thai. He trained with several different coaches before finding a home at Lumpini Fight Systems under Ajarn Sam Lumpini in 2012. It was here that Nick earned Kru status in 2019 after years of rigorous training in Muay Thai instruction.
Nick brings five years of experience instructing Muay Thai classes for ages 4 to 50+, beginner to highly competitive. Nick's focus is on helping each student establish solid foundations on which to build. He believes Muay Thai is something everyone can enjoy, and has a very encouraging style.
