I took my first class of Tai Chi ever at this studio, and although I was nervous at first, I ended up really enjoying it. The other students who were there before the instructor, as I was, were friendly and welcoming. One of them offered to show me the warm-ups while we waited for Sifu Paul. When he arrived, he showed me a beginning stance and corrected my form, patiently making sure I understood and was comfortable with it before moving on to the other students.

I wasn't sure what to expect, so for those who also have no idea, this is what happened during the class: Everyone else had evidently been to Tai Chi before, and began at their own pace and worked on their own forms. Most people were in sweat pants and a t-shirt, although one other student wore shorts. The instructor and/or his assistant got around to everyone to make sure they were practicing correctly, giving help, or showing them something new. The instructor was very kind and spent extra time making sure I was doing alright. I worked through the four-step set all class, and after class Sifu Paul had me fill out a small form with my information and interests. He then explained the other classes he teaches and let me know when they were in case I wanted to attend others. He was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend considering this class, and intend to go back again.

Tai Chi isn't a step aerobics class, and you can't Sweat to the Oldies with Richard Simmons if you want real Tai Chi practice.  Paul Ramos allows an open practice that is self-paced with one on one instruction that allows you to find your chi and move in forms to your breath.  His style of teaching a class is exactly what you want when starting or developing your Tai Chi practice.  This isn't an instructor shouting out confusing instructions as you struggle to keep up.  The best!

Yesterday was my first class and pretty much the first time I've seen the art of Tai Chi. Peter was an excellent instructor. From the start he introduced himself, took me through a few warm-up exercises, and for about 20 minutes of the class, he dedicated to me since I was the newcomer of the group. He also enlisted the help of one of his master students while he corrected the form of a couple who were also beginners but not first comers. I loved it so much, I'm going back today. After I left the class, I felt like I'd had a workout even though the moved are so subtle. The spirit of the room was calming and you didn't get that gym feel, like everybody is watching you. There was a lot of focus on the craft amongst the group. Top Flight Class!

I have now taken two Tai Chi classes at Wu Shen Tao Health and I am very happy with my experience. I am a first-time student of Tai Chi, and Paul is a patient but methodical instructor who helps his students learn the foundations of the practice and build on that knowledge during each successive class. I like that everyone can learn at their own pace and it is a welcoming, relaxed space. I would definitely recommend Wu Shen Tao Health for both beginners and long-time practitioners of Tai Chi.

Sifu Ramos was a fantastic teacher.  This was my first time at a Tai Chi class.  I came in with absolutely no experience or even understanding of Tai Chi, and after one hour-long class, I came out knowing one exercise and, more importantly, why I was learning it.  Sifu Ramos takes the time to make sure his students are learning correctly rather than rushing them through moves with improper technique.  Every student in the class got individual attention, and structured practice time as well.  I was definitely satisfied!
