Reminiscing on days that seem like such a long time. Some of those days I needed to get on that mat. Some days I didn\'t feel like it but I did it anyway. I miss those days.
Virtual became another valuable way to learn. A whole new type of training effective in it\'s own way.
Let me tell U something from my heart!
I came to jiu jitsu challenge myself w the training. I stay for the community.
Joe completed the Gracie Combatives program in May of 2017, and received his Blue Belt one year later. With the encouragement of Head Instructor Skye Middleton, he then embarked on the journey to become a certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructor. This process was completed with live verification testing at Gracie University in Torrance, CA in January of 2019. In addition to his love of jiu-jitsu, Joe is also a dedicated family man, an accomplished musician, and works as a physical therapist assistant. On his role as an instructor and training partner Joe says, “It's an honor to share this exploration of the Gentle Art with you.”
