It was my first class yesterday with Joseph, the instructor. Another class was in session however I got acknowledged right away and he came to see me during a short break in order for me to fill up the waiver. After that I started right away with the current class and stayed another hour for the next class.
Joseph's Krav Maga is Jujitsu oriented which is great because more often than most fights can end up on the ground and knowing some tricks can give you an edge over your opponent. Although I never done ground fighting, I was a quick learner and performed very well.
As we were a bunch of newbies, Joseph made us practice shadow boxing for the form, engaging jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts with feet movements. It was refreshing for my mind and I'm sure first timers appreciated it.
Joseph made sure we had a warm up, some abs and core workout, enough to have you excited about the class and break a good sweat.
I would recommend the class as it is pretty good however the schedule doesn't seem to fit with mine for Krav Maga as it is late at night but I am sure some people would appreciate it.
At the end, I learned some tricks witch I like so I consider it a good class.
