I've been a customer at Bodyworks for a couple of years now, but have not previously written a review. I feel compelled now because I feel they've made some great strides forward, and I also had a transcendental experience with my latest massage.
On the changes side, they've put in some sound silencing panels in the rooms, so now you can't hear other people's sessions. Also, they've taken a lot of COVID steps to keep us safe, which I appreciate.
As for my latest experience which drove me to review them. I've tried many of the therapists at Bodyworks, from what I can tell they're all amazing, but I choose to see Brooke because she's simply the best, better than all the rest. Recently she started offering a cold stone massage add-on for $10, and I tried it out. Contrary to a hot stone massage, I felt that the stones glide much more easily across the skin, and quickly work to create a soothing experience, which lasted for about the last 10 minutes of my visit. When it was done, however, I was truly in a blissful haze like I've never experienced from a massage before. This was one time I definitely had to take my time getting up, the afterglow from the cold stones was so powerful. This is one add-on I truly feel is worth the money and I'll be making sure to add it to more of my visits in the future.
