Ms. Daniele is the best!!
Yuxi is a passionate classical pianist who started learning
piano when she was 5-years-old. She studied piano in China before
the age of 12. After moving to the United States in 2013, she
continued her piano studies at the Merit School of Music in
Chicago. Yuxi currently studies with Timothy Ehlen at the
University of Illinois and will be receiving her B.M. In Piano
Performance in the year of 2022.
As a piano student and a music performer, Yuxi believes that learning music helps you grow regardless of age because you will continuously challenge yourself and achieve goals through the process of learning music. As a piano teacher, Ms. Yuxi’s main goal in teaching is to build students’ passion for music as well as passion for learning new things. She would love to see students bring in songs or pieces that they like.
Yuxi believes piano is a great instrument for beginners because it covers the complete language of music. This makes piano a great way to learn the basics of music. The visual layout of the black and white keys also makes learning to read music easier. Yuxi herself learned to play piano as her first instrument, and now she has learned other instruments such as guitar, violin, organ, and harpsichord.
