Hi, my name is Sam! I grew up right here in Mansfield, Texas. I have loved to sing my whole. entire. life. However, my formal training in music did not begin until freshman year of high school. Fun fact, I actually attended voice lessons here with Sarah Darby (owner of Destiny)! Those voice lessons ultimately led me to guitar lessons the next year, as well as joining the Mansfield High School Choir! Following High School, I went on to major in Music Education at Dallas Baptist University. I am so glad I did. My experience at DBU changed the trajectory of my whole life, and I am incredibly grateful that God led me to that University.I love teaching at Destiny Studio because I get to teach kiddos about content that I am super passionate about! I know that I am called to teach, and working here allows me to live out that calling. I enjoy working with kids a ton! They are hilarious and they also teach me a whole lot about myself. I love having the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives, as I know I have been blessed with incredible mentors throughout the years.Along with teaching music, I also enjoy makeup, spending time with family/ friends, and serving at my home church, Stonegate, in Midlothian.
