Donna was my first coach she is wonderful she keeps me in the zone she created my positions made sure that my form was okay and didn't make me feel like I couldn't do it I love the way she coached the class
A love of movement and choreography drove me to Pilates.
Dance has been an integral part of my life since I was a little girl pretending to dance like Gene Kelly. Once I started taking formal lessons at the ripe old age of 16, I knew I was hooked. I went to college and received my Bachelor's in Dance from UNC Greensboro. Once out of college I taught ballroom fulltime and won my first ballroom competition. Over the years I have choreographed, taught, and danced up and down the east coast. Once I landed in Mechanicsburg I started looking for a way to get back into moving but also stay in shape. I had a chance encounter with Lauren Kutz (performing in the musical Chicago together) and here I am as a Pilates teacher. I also have a kind husband and two cute (but loud) dogs.
My teaching philosophy:
You are stronger than you think. Once you get past your mind, your body is capable of so many things. Make sure you smile too!
I like to use imagery to help students find the proper way to do movements. Don’t be surprised if you hear me talking about making rainbows in class!
My family, especially my husband Mike who has taken numerous classes with me.
