I just had a personal visit with Chimêne and it was eye opening. I didn't realize how much my neurological imbalances status post stroke went right down to my core. Like a good physical therapist, she focuses on stability before mobility and therefore we are starting at the core and working our way out. Thank you to the Pilates studio for providing this service of neurokinetic therapy to our community. I hope to learn a lot more in my future visits.
Lily has maintained a dedicated yoga practice for almost 15
years. She has explored a variety of yoga techniques and
styles—Kripalu and BIkram being two of her favorites. In 2016, Lily
joined the Pilates Room as a student and instantly fell in love
with Urban Rebounding. Rebounding’s dance-like approach to fitness
has given her the physical, emotional, and spiritual workout she
needs to #bounce through life with joy.
With the encouragement and support of Tori Brown, Lily decided to
pursue a certification in Urban Rebounding and is thrilled to have
joined the Pilates Room as an instructor.
When she’s not bouncing, Lily is a grateful mom to Ruby; a lively friend to Kathryn; and a clumsy Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Behavior at Cornell.
