Anastasia Baratta has been a mover, athlete, and non-professional dancer since she could wiggle. She came to Pilates after someone suggested it for personal injuries and postural misalignments. She was hooked and became a Pilates teacher in 2010 through the Kane School in NYC and then continued training in Los Angeles in 2012 through BASI (Body Arts and Science International). Shortly thereafter she met Tannis Kobrinsky and began teaching at Pilates & Arts, Echo Park, among other spots around LA. She now lives in Yucca valley.
Anastasia loves to study the science and arts around the body, healing and movement. She has taken numerous trainings, workshops, classes and considers what she does Holistic Body Conditioning . She combines myofascial release, dynamic stretching and Pilates based core strengthening principles into unique and individualized movement sessions.
Anastasia believes that great classes have the right balance of play and work.
