Veronica Combs began her path into fitness by pursuing her
desire to dance professionally. She studied classical ballet at the
School of American Ballet in New York City, and later at the Kirov
Academy in Washington, D.C. After graduating with a BFA in Dance
from Southern Methodist University, she began her successful career
as a Pilates instructor. Veronica has over 16 years of experience
as a certified Pilates instructor and is currently the Regional
Director for Power Pilates for Texas and the surrounding states.
Within the last 9 years, she has personally certified and mentored
more than 300 instructors and travels both nationally and
internationally to teach workshops, master classes, as well as
continuing education. Veronica is one of only 10 senior level Power
Pilates Teacher Trainers in the world. Veronica is also the creator
and primary educator for Vbarre, her trademarked brand of exercise
that is a fusion of Pilates, ballet, and resistance training.
Launched in 2011, Vbarre quickly became an internationally
recognized program. Vbarre was featured as a signature class for
New York, Boston, and Philadelphia Sport Clubs from 2011-2013, and
is currently taught in boutique studios across the nation.
Veronica’s Vbarre method is the culmination of her love of dance
paired with her passion for fitness. Veronica is dedicated and
driven to help her clients reach their fitness goals through both
classical Pilates and Vbarre. She feels grateful to have a career
that allows her the opportunity to empower others through healthy
movement. Veronica believes that movement not only heals the body,
but also benefits the mind. When not working with her clients,
Veronica can be found spending time with her husband Mark, their
son Luke, and their dog Nero.
