An invigorating classical sadhana (practice)- targeted to jump start your yoga journey. Whether you are coming back from a long break or interested in deepening your practice; Johnny will inspire and empower you by offering you the tools and understanding of classical yoga poses to grow your own practice.  We will use yoga props in creative ways, as well as expand on your understanding of yoga props, and how and when to use them in your own practice.
This course is designed as a progression from one day to the next, building on what we learned the day before. By the end of the week, we will have chiseled off the rough edges to reveal the diamond inside.
Monday- Utistha & Upavista Sthithi (Standing & Seated poses)
Focus on standing and seated poses to establish a foundation for the rest of the week. Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) is also introduced
Tuesday- Utistha & Upavista Sthithi II
Continued focus on establishing our foundation
Wednesday- Purva Pratana Sthiti (Back Extensions)
Understanding the body mechanics of back extensions and how to use props to enhance your experience
Thursday- Parivrta Sthiti (Twists)
Following back extensions, we’ll wring out and unwind
Friday- Paschima Pratana Sthithi (Forward extension) ,Visranta Karaka Asana (Restorative), & Pranayama (Breathwork)
By the end of the week, you’ve put in a lot of work and now it’s time to integrate what we’ve learned and experience a renewed body, mind, and spirit.
