Ayurveda is Sanskrit for the science of life. It is the sister science of yoga and the root of medicine. It can significantly enhance any yoga or self care practice as it outlines how to become and stay in balance with life itself. This balance is personalized based on body and energy type. Even the hours of the day and the seasons of the year have an energy type! As well as the food you eat, the yoga you practice, the ingredients in your skin care. The list goes on and on, as does the ways in which the practical knowledge of Ayurveda will benefit you.

The basic terms of Ayurveda and their meaning.
How Ayurveda pertains to yoga and meditation.
The different energy signatures and what keeps them balanced.
This includes yoga/fitness practice, breathing exercises, meditation, diet, ingredients in your personal care products, and might include some new self care practices, sleep schedule, supplements.
Your personal energy signature and how to begin crafting and optimizing your dhinacharya (daily routine).
How to determine others' energy signatures.
How to change your practices and self care for the season and even the time of day.

About Your Teacher

Brooke is an ERYT 500 + YACEP, Sound Healer, and Reiki Master with 13 years of teaching experience, and 26 years of practice and esoteric study. She's passionate about sharing practical tools that greatly enhance wellbeing, and helping others on their journey of healing and wholeness. Her own healing from chronic illness inspired her to become a teacher and empower others to understand themselves on a deeper level and take back control of their lives.
