The Competition Program at April Rain Dance Academy is designed for dedicated students who demonstrate strong technique, passion, and commitment to dance. This program focuses on intensive training and performance preparation for competitive choreography classes, including:

• Chinese Dance – Bunny

• Chinese Dance – Swan

• Jazz – Spark

• Jazz – Blaze

• Acro – Ember

Students in the Competition Program receive specialized coaching, additional rehearsal time, and opportunities to participate in local and national dance competitions.

1. # Teacher Recommendation and Selection Process

Enrollment in the Competition Program is by teacher recommendation and selective audition only. Our instructors carefully evaluate students based on:

• Technical skill and dance fundamentals

• Consistency in attendance and commitment

• Ability to learn and perform choreography at a competitive level

• Work ethic and attitude in class and rehearsals

Students recommended for the program will be invited to audition, where they will be assessed on technique, performance quality, and potential for growth. Successful candidates will be offered placement in one of the competition teams.
