The second of Leanne’s workshops exploring myofascial release (MFR) will open with a recap of the functions and qualities of the fascia system.
You will then be guided through a practice that uses the weight of the body, props and balls to ‘roll and release’ the fascia and soothe your nervous system. Similar, in ways, to Yin yoga, you’ll be supported and encouraged to play with ‘your edge’ and work with your body’s direct feedback to find what feels good and release what was stuck. The practice will close with a long savasana to allow the work to integrate.
Perfect for anyone that loves massage, or is curious to learn more about their body through sensation and direct experience, this workshop will leave you feeling stretched, soothed and very present and alive in the body.
Open to all, including those that attended the first session. The practice will focus on a line of fascia we've yet to explore together.
You will need your yoga mat, lots of water and a sock (large enough to hold 2 tennis balls)
