The Titan Build the Athlete (BTA) Membership is all about teaching young Athletes how to USE (Movement Literacy), DEVELOP (Performance) & MAINTAIN (Recovery) their Bodies.
The JR & SR BTA Membership is geared towards young Athletes aged 8-12 years and focuses on building strong foundations in each of our Training System’s Primary Performance Pilar’s including Speed, Strength & Mobility.
All Build the Athlete classes emphasize Quality before Quantity using Movement Based training techniques (The Best do the Basics Better) while aiming to create an Inclusive & Supportive environment with a Positive & Energetic attitude.
The Titan BTA program is Coached by Joey Kwasniewski, Blake Hatt & Andre Lavigne. Coach Joey has been coaching High Performance athletes in Ottawa for over 10 years and on top of leading our Titan Strength staff, Joey is also the Lead Performance Coach at uOttawa where he overseas the training for close to 1,000 athletes. In Blake’s young career he has had the opportunity to intern and coach at St.FX, St. Marys University in San Antonio, TX and is a current SR Strength Coach at uOttawa leading the Mens & Womens Hockey programs. Coach Andre has been a leader on the Titan Skating Treadmill helping develop our Titan training system. He also has his PT cert and has been a JR Coach with uOttawa Mens & Womens Hockey this past season.
In the Titan BTA Membership, Athletes will have the option of completing up to 3 classes a week which include 1 Strength focused session a week focusing on the Foundations of Upper & Lower Body Strength Patterns, Jumping, Explosive Power Movements, & Mobility basics & 2 Speed & Movement focused sessions, that will review Straight Line & Multi-Directional Speed Mechanics, Patterns, Footwork & Reactive Agility with all content taught through engaging lessons, games & challenges
Our sessions are up-tempo with tight session periods and we like to compete. We value Quality before Quantity -> The Best do the Basics Better!
