Barre classes are 60 minutes, excluding Express Barre 45 minutes, which combine beginning, intermediate and advanced fitness levels. You can expect a warm-up, light weights, balance, strengthening and barre workout. So no matter your fitness level, we welcome you to join us.
Why the Elite Barre Method works:
Founded and developed by Michele McEntire, the Elite Barre Fitness method incorporates Ballet foundational movements with Calisthenics, in a strength conditioning, cardio workout, without impact. This unique workout, lengthens and strengthens muscles all while burning calories. By combining stretching, strengthening and cardio, the average participant burns up to 500 calories per class. The Elite Barre Method targets hard to transform muscle groups including: Arms, Chest, Abs, Hips, Glutes, Outer Seat, Outer and Inner Thighs, Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, and Feet. Results may vary.
What is included in a Barre Class Workout?
You can expect 15 minutes of warm-up and stretch, 15 minutes of strength training with light weights, and 30 minutes of barre routine including isometric small movements and larger cardio movements. This no impact exercise method is done with upbeat music to enhance the overall workout experience. Weights are optional and all movements can be modified to accommodate limitations and injury.
Our transformative total body workouts build toned muscles from head to toe, increase your metabolism, and helps you lose weight. You'll find balance in your body, which will lead to better posture, improved circulation, digestion, cardio strength, and a physique that serves you rather than holds you back. Participants report feeling younger, stronger, more confident in their bodies with an added ability to get out and do the things they love.
