Dermaplaning is an aesthetic treatment performed to exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (commonly known as “peach fuzz”) fron the face using a sterile surgical scalpel, The treatment aims to improve the skin's texture and appearance by promoting cell turnover, product penetration and stimulating collagen production.

Contraindications for Dermaplaning:

- Active acne

- Rosacea or sensitive skin (this can be determined once esthetician sees client's skin and client is aware of post care needed)

- Sunburn or recent sun exposure

- Open wounds or lesions

- Prescribed Accutane (this can be determined once esthetician sees client's skin and client is aware of post care needed)

- History of keloid scarring
