This Initial Pilates Assessment + Session is a prerequisite for all new clients of Kelley Cady Studio. Exceptions are made for seasoned Pilates movers, or otherwise agreed upon between Kelley and the Client.

+ Comprehensive assessment of your skeletal alignment and movement habits and demonstrate how they may be contributing to issues that concern you, to include photos, walking gait video, + more
+ Review of your assessment photos and videos.
+ Based on assessment I prescribe exercises to address your goals.
+ Practice of each exercise to insure you have a thorough understanding of the how and why of each movement and how to fit these new movement habits into your lifestyle. .
+ Outline of home exercises through private document.
What should I wear?
> No Shoes: This appointment is done barefoot wearing socks only, preferably not too slippery.
> Comfortable stretchy clothes: You want workout clothing that is stretchable and preferably not too baggy -
I look at the alignment of your joints and how you use your muscles to move and stabilize. I do develop a level of x-ray vision as part of our training, but it still helps us to be able to see your body clearly. However, it’s most important that you are comfortable and that your clothing doesn’t inhibit your movement. Be aware that some Pilates exercises end up with your legs in the air or torso inverted, so it’s generally better to wear something that stays in place.
