Aerial chains performing artist Sara Tipton is back at the SLCCC for this mini workshop!  Space is limited! - only four slots per session, so you get lots of one-on-one assistance.

Begin your journey on the loops and learn the basics of aerial chains. A fun and unique combo will be taught along with smooth transitions to get you started on an aerial chains practice!

*DISCLAIMER: Chains can break fingers and pinch off skin. Wear long sleeves, leggings or other formfitting pants, and socks. Be prepared to talk to your instructor if something goes beyond a mild, painful feeling. We all have different levels of pain tolerance, which can be built over time, so don’t worry if you bruise easily. Please be a vocal advocate for yourself and avoid a bone bruise by talking to your instructor once you start to go beyond mild bruising.

My goal is to spread my love of this apparatus to others. I am a competitive men's gymnastics coach and former competitive gymnast. Coaching others is my passion. I love watching people succeed! I prefer to use basic biomechanics to work with the body, not against it. My goal is to foster a love of chains through respect of the apparatus and proper grip and alignment, which will prevent injury and help with progression.
