Description
Yoga for Runners is a four week series designed to help runners practice and race with strength, focus and ease. Our classes will focus on:

Strength and stability to help you run strong and steady with particular attention on hip, core and leg strength;

Flexibility and mobility to increase and maintain range of motion in the hips, legs, spine and shoulders;
-
Release and rest practices to ease muscle and fascial tension including self-myofascial release (with tennis balls and yoga blocks), Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga;

Breathing practices to support your running goals including those that help with calming the mind, body and nervous system; and
-
Meditation to foster mindfulness and awareness in your running
What you'll receive:

Optional participation in a personalized intake to express your goals, challenges, and specific health considerations

Weekly 75 minute classes either in-person or online and access to the recorded class for 7 days

Recorded videos of shorter classes (10-15mins), PDF guides of yoga poses, and/or audio recordings of meditations and breathing practices to support you each week

Educational resources that cover the theme of each week’s class

Small class size to foster community as we move, breath, and learn together
All levels class with those new to yoga welcomed.
No Yoga props required; everything you need is available at the studio for these classes.
