Getting started in Meditation can be challenging for any number of reasons as distractions pervade. Perhaps you like the idea of mindfulness but have not found the time to delve inward yet.
Introducing our signature Meditation in Movement Series: this 4-week Meditation series explores meditation in movement, with a variety of body mind practices, based in breath awareness and mindfulness.
In this unique series you will experience:
Week 1 - Meditation and Somatic Yoga
Using the traditional approach to Meditation with yoga, however using a Somatic approach and discovering how this is different than fitness or performative yoga.
Week 2 - Meditative Music, Sound and Dance
Accessing your Theta waves through music, how sound affects our nervous systems, and Dance, where we free ourselves from restrictive movement to flow and ebb with rhythm and emotion. This is not an entire dance class if that feels too intimidating, that’s ok, we start small with intuitive movements.
Week 3 - Meditative Somatic Movement
The heart and soul of finding your meditative connection through awareness. A conscious movement practice that heals.
Week 4 - Moving Meditation in your Daily Life
We all find it hard to sit still in this rapid and technological age. So, let’s not until we are ready to. Let’s start with some gentle intuitive movement practices based in meditation and see what evolves.
Imagine being fully present in your body and feeling all the feels, sensing your surroundings, being alive, alert and engaged with your body mind and spirit.
